Fun At The Park!

The plan today was to get up nice and early and get out before it got hot. We got to the park shortly after 9 and already the heat was getting intense! We went to find the baby swings only to see to my dissapointment it was the HUGE baby swings and not the smaller ones! What happened to parks with the smaller baby swings?? I put him in anyway and got a few pictures, but it was way too big. He liked it for the few moments he was in it though!



Next we just decided to go walking. The park we went to has lots of nice hiking trails, a lake, and a nice nature center. We walked around until Eirik decided it was time to eat at which point we sat at a picnic table in the shade for a while. Afterwards we began the trek back to the car... lets just say even though it was only 10:30 it was hot and disgusting! Eirik passed out in the Ergo despite the fact he must have been drenched in sweat. By the time we got back to the car I was pretty exhausted even though we really hadn't done that much walking! I guess carrying around the 20lb baby MAY have had something to do with it. ;)
